New Delhi [India], August 11 (ANI): Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia convened a high-level meeting at his residence on Sunday.
Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders including AAP member Sandeep Pathak, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, Delhi State Convenor Gopal Rai, National Secretary Pankaj Gupta, Ministers Atishi, Saurabh Bhardwaj and other AAP leaders were present in the meeting ahead of the Delhi assembly elections.
AAP MP Sandeep Pathak confirmed that a meeting would be held with all MLAs on Monday after which day after tomorrow another meeting will be held where the councillors would meet Manish Sisodia.
“After discussing the situation, a meeting will be held tomorrow with all the MLAs. After that, the day after tomorrow the councillors will be meeting Manish Sisodia. Later, on August 14 Manish Sisodia will be meeting the people of Delhi through a padayatra,” Pathak said speaking to the reporters.
He further added that the BJP government and PM Modi only have one aim of bringing down the AAP party, however, the people are now convinced that AAP has been giving their best to the people.
“The people are now convinced that AAP has been doing their best for the people. The BJP party and PM have only one agenda and that is bringing down the AAP party. However, our party has been growing in every state. Full preparation has been going on in Haryana and all the leaders have been preparing to win the elections. The meeting held today was focused on Haryana. The Haryana elections will be a high-octane election,” he added.
Earlier today, AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj said that AAP will deliberate on the upcoming assembly elections in Delhi in the meeting adding that the BJP will not win even a single seat in the upcoming elections.
Sisodia was released from Tihar Jail on August 9 after the Supreme Court granted him bail in connection with the Delhi excise policy case after almost 18 months. (ANI)
