At 1400 hrs on August 6, the Assistant Director of Fisheries, Chennai, informed Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre (MRCC) Chennai regarding a medical emergency on board IFB Sengalamman which had set out from Chennai for fishing with 12 crew members on-board.
