Adil Hussain reacts to fan confusing him with Turkish Olympic shooter Yusuf Dikec – World News Network

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], August 3 (ANI): Adil Hussain recently encountered a humorous case of mistaken identity with Turkish shooter Dikec, who has come to the limelight after winning a silver medal without wearing the gear that was expected in a shooting event and still managed to beat almost all his opponents at the Paris Olympics 2024.
The mix-up started when an X user shared a collage of Yusuf Dikec and Adil with a caption that read, “Congratulations sir @_AdilHussain on winning silver at Olympics 2024 for Turkey. Respect.”
The actor was mistakenly congratulated for winning a medal at the Paris Olympics, a feat actually accomplished by Turkish shooter Yusuf Dikec. Adil found the error amusing and handled it with good humour.
The tweet included a picture of both Adil and Yusuf, suggesting a resemblance between the two. Adil, who recently appeared in the film Ulajh with Janhvi Kapoor, found the situation more funny than confusing.
Responding to the tweet, Adil joked, “Wish this was true. Maybe it’s not too late to start practicing… Since I have the attitude, I just need to work on the skill set now (sic).”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Adil is currently featured in Ulajh, starring alongside Janhvi Kapoor.
Ulajh is an espionage thriller produced by Junglee Pictures, also featuring Gulshan Devaiah and Roshan Mathew. The story follows Suhana Bhatia, the youngest Deputy High Commissioner, as she tackles a tough mission in London. The cast also includes Adil Hussain, Meiyang Chang, Rajendra Gupta, and Jitendra Joshi. The film is written by Saria and Parveez Shaikh, with dialogue by Atika Chauhan.
The film was released in theatres on August 2. (ANI)
